Participants are asked to bring 12-24 lines of memorized text to integrate this work into your speaking voice. Through physical movement, breath and improvisation as well as an exploration of archetypes, text and sound, this master class will help to create characters in a clear, expressive and strong voice, and provide the actor with tools to continue this practice in your work. Dress to move and play! Prerequisites: Roy Hart 1 or past experience with the technique recommended, ages 18+, capacity: 10 students. Lucinda Holshue has worked with teachers from the Roy Hart Theatre for the last 27 years.
