Stage Management
July 13–24, 2026 (two weeks)
Grades 9–12

Put on your headset and get ready to GO in this hands on camp for stage managers. Learn real world tricks and techniques from working professionals in this immersive, two week camp. Through practical workshops and rehearsal room experience, you’ll gain skills in interpersonal communication, collaboration, organization and document design, setting you up to manage any style of live performance.

Camp End of Day is at 4:15pm
Camper supervision ends at 4:15pm every day. I understand that the Guthrie Theater does not provide adult supervision after 4:15pm and is no longer responsible for my student after this time without prior communication and agreement from Guthrie staff.
Refund Policy:
• Fee of $25 is non-refundable and due with the first payment.

• 100% back (minus the $25 deposit) if registration is cancelled within 6 weeks of start date

• 75% back (minus the $25 deposit) if registration is cancelled within 5 weeks of the start date.

• 50% back (minus the $25 deposit) if registration is cancelled within 2 weeks of the start date.

• NO REFUND if registration is cancelled less than 1 week prior to the start of the camp session.

• Guthrie Education reserves the right to cancel a Camp or Intensive up to two weeks before the start date due to insufficient registration with full refunds (including the $25 registration fee) and notification given.
Medical/Life Emergency Cancellation:
We understand that unexpected life circumstances sometimes interrupt even your best-made plans. If you need to cancel enrollment due to an emergency, our staff with work with you on a refund plan.
Behavioral Dismissal Policy:
Camper fees are non-refundable if a camper is removed for disciplinary reasons. Physical violence or bullying toward another camper or staff member will result in immediate dismissal from the program. Additional weeks will be refunded minus a $25 non-refundable deposit. We are committed to working with students and guardians to ensure every student has a positive experience. Please contact us if you would like to learn more about our intervention plans.
Photo Release:
I hereby authorize to the Guthrie Theater all rights and usage pertaining to photographs and/or video taken during the Guthrie Theater Summer Camps. I waive the right to modeling fees and copyright considerations. I approve the use of all content, or any portion thereof, to be used in future Guthrie publications, advertising, social media and website content at the discretion of the Guthrie Theater without notice or remuneration.

Camp Self Release
The Guthrie Theater conducts a sign-in and sign-out procedure with all youth participating in the Guthrie Theater Summer Camp to ensure, to the extent reasonably possible, that all youth have a safe and secure experience.

I am requesting my student be released from the Guthrie Theater Summer camp without an authorized adult and be allowed to travel to their destination (whether by walking, biking, or other) on their own. I understand that the Guthrie Theater cannot be responsible for my students’ care or safety once they leave the building. I also understand that the Guthrie Theater has not investigated or made any evaluation of the circumstances regarding the reasonableness of my plan for my student reaching their destination, including, among others, my student's maturity and the location of their destination in relation to the Guthrie Theater.

I request that my student be released into their own custody at the end of the regular program time. I understand the risks and do hereby for myself, my heirs, administrators, personal representatives and assigns forever waive, release and hold harmless the Guthrie Theater, its offices, directors, employees and representatives (the released parties) for any and all liabilities, losses, costs, claims, damages or causes of action that I may hereafter have for death, injury or damages that may be suffered by my child after their departure from the Guthrie Theater Summer camp without adult supervision, whether caused by negligence, active or passive, of the Released Parties.

Self Release Authorization:
If your student is over the age of 13 and you wish to allow them to leave their camp without being signed out by an authorized adult, please check 'Yes I give permission.'
